Cancellation and Flexibility
All rates booked on our website are fully flexible and can be cancelled before 6pm on the day prior to arrival.
Prior to your arrival you will receive a courtesy call to run through our new procedures and to allow you to ask anything to help reassure you. Please also email us at any stage [email protected]
Your stay at the Fitzwilliam will be as friendly as ever however we do also want to offer contactless payment options throughout, if required.
Your pre stay email will contain a link for you to settle accommodation charges directly.
Contactless Check in & Check out
We are delighted to offer the facility to arrive to the hotel where your virtual key will be made available and sent to your phone and you can access your room directly.
Should you prefer to have our staff assist you, we will be more than happy to do so.
Hotel Sanitisation Post Covid19
We have always prided ourselves on our level of cleanliness, however we now have a new protocol which covers all areas of the hotel. Each guestroom, corridor, lift, meeting room, dining outlet, entry and exit point and all public areas are included.
Hand sanitisation units are located throughout the hotel for all guests to utilize.
Each guestroom will have hand sanitizer, facemask and gloves for use during the guest stay should the guest require same.
All rooms are fogged after each stay while our public areas, especially high touch points will be disinfected on an hourly basis.
We want to give everyone a little more space so only every third room will be occupied and will be remain idle for 48 hours between stays.

Our Team & Training
All staff at the Fitzwilliam Hotel has completed our safe & hygienic return to the workplace training, which focuses on maintaining guest safety, new hotel hygiene protocol, and social distancing policy.
Please be aware that all staff are temperature checked before commencing work.

All food service operations have been adjusted to adhere to the new regulations.
Menus will be single use and we will ensure in room information is at a minimum.
Room service and delivery options are also available at a distance.
Rest assured all cutlery and crockery have been sanitised before use, but should you prefer single use, please do just let us know.
Our staff is trained and will adhere to the current government guidelines in relation to 2m social distance between persons. Guests will be asked to do likewise, and you will notice signage around the hotel, to ensure that all guests and staff remain safe and well while with us.
We will operate a policy of one person per lift to adhere to these guidelines.
What we have learned from all of this is that our guests are all different and your needs, requests and reassurances will also be different.
