And The Award Goes To…

The Fitzwilliam Hotel Dublin receives a lot of praise from our guests, but they’re not the only ones who like what we do.

This year (and every year) we seem to have won quite a few travel awards and hotel accolades . Here are some of the ones of which we are most proud:

TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award 2017

What’s nice about this one is that not only does it put us in the top 1% of hotels but it’s an award voted for by thousands of satisfied, real-life guests, as opposed to travel writers. Wonderful stuff.

TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards are voted for by millions of travellers every year and include the best hotels, airlines, beaches, museums, islands, destinations, restaurants, attractions, landmarks and even all-inclusive resorts. We’re very proud of this one.

Signature Guestroom

TripAdvisor Top 25 Luxury Hotels in Ireland 2017

Proof, if proof were needed, that The Fitzwilliam Hotel Dublin is right up there with the best luxury hotels in Ireland (and, yes, the world).

Any TripAdvisor award is good news because it’s like a viewer’s choice award. We’ve had a few of these over the years but it always fills us with pride when we’re included in the announcements. It’s also nice to read the comments, like “Excellent in all aspects.” Thanks for that.

Georgina Campbell Business Hotel of the Year 2017

The Georgina Campbell Awards are the longest running hospitality awards in Ireland and are highly prized by hotels all over the country. This year we won the Business Hotel Of The Year alongside our sister, The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast.

Here’s some of what they had to say: “Understated luxury is the hallmark of these city centre sister hotels in Dublin and Belfast, both of which are cool destinations for leisure guests thanks to their excellent locations, design-led contemporary style, good food and outstandingly friendly and helpful staff.

ISO 9000:2015 Accreditation

The ISO 9000:2015 accreditation is internationally recognised quality standard that proves the recipient (us) follows a strict programme of quality control and management.

It’s an arduous undertaking but our ISO 9000:2015 guarantees excellence in all of our procedures and processes, especially in the ones you can’t see, the behind-the-scenes work, in the kitchens and other parts of the hotel.

Other Travel Awards

Over the years we’ve won a Michelin star (and we’re going to get that back again soon), were voted one of the Hottest Hotels In The World by Condé Nast (what an honour), have been praised by celebrities (no, we can’t say who) and are generally thanked wholeheartedly by nearly everyone who stays here.

In return, we’d thank you very much for choosing to stay with us.
