June is one of the best months to come and explore Dublin. The warm weather puts a smile on every face and the whole city seems brighter and jollier. Here are just some of our suggestions for things to do in June:

Bloom

Bloom is Ireland’s largest gardening, food and family festival and it takes place in our huge city centre park –  the Phoenix Park – over the June bank holiday weekend (30th of May, and 31st, 1st of June, 2nd and 3rd).

Forbidden Fruit

This is Dublin city’s multi-stage music, art, fashion and food festival and this year it takes place in and around the Irish Museum of Modern Art beside Royal Hospital Kilmainham from Saturday June 1st to Monday 3rd of June.

Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon

The largest Women’s event of its kind in the world is back on Sunday 2nd of June and features tens of thousands of women running for charity through the city streets.

The Girl on the Train

The hit play based on the blockbuster movie from the bestselling book hits Dublin’s Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Monday 3rd to Saturday 8th of June.

Michael Bublé

Michael Bublé puts on a spectacular show. This time it’s in the 3Arena on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th of June.

Pink: Beautiful Trauma World Tour

She’s back and she’s bringing her World Tour with her to the RDS on 18th of June. Like all of her shows, this should be a spectacular, high-octane, loud show – her first one in Ireland since 2013.

Riverdance

The biggest Irish show of all time is back in Dublin and it’s in the Gaiety Theatre, just around the corner from the hotel. Book your tickets here and see our Riverdance offers here.

Taste of Dublin

Iveagh Gardens, Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th of June, just around the corner from the hotel, in the gorgeous Iveagh Gardens. This is a food-lovers’ paradise with creations from the best chefs and hottest kitchens in Ireland.

Fleetwood Mac

One of the biggest and most enduring rock acts of all time are back in Dublin for one last time. Try for tickets at the RDS (near the hotel) on 13th of June.

Bon Jovi: This House is not For Sale Tour

One of the planet’s biggest rock bands returns to Ireland for shows on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th of June in the RDS. Special guests will be Manic Street Preachers.

Bloomsday

Every year, we celebrate 16th of June which is the day on which James Joyce’s famous novel Ulysses is set. We call it Bloomsday, after the main character Leopold Bloom, and there are readings, breakfasts, reenactments and all things Joycean all through the day all over Dublin.

Lana Del Rey

This is going to be huge. Lana is bringing her show to the magnificent outdoor setting of the grounds of Malahide Castle on 22nd of June.

Fame The Musical

Based on the 1980 phenomenal pop culture film, Fame The Musical is the international smash hit sensation and it’s coming back to Dublin. See it at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from Tuesday 18th to Saturday 22nd of June.

Dirty Dancing

The hit stage musical is back again, exploding with heart-pounding music, breathtaking emotion and sensationally sexy dancing. Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from 24th to the 29th of June.

Dublin Pride

30th of June sees the culmination of a week of celebrations for the Dublin LGBTQ Pride with the wonderful parade through the heart of the city.
